As many of you may know, in July 2012 we lost our younger brother Charlie Hutton, aged 14, in a tragic boating accident. The RNLI were absolutely amazing in their efforts and we wanted to show our appreciation for the incredible work they do. We want to continue our efforts to raise money for the RNLI as an enduring legacy to Charlie’s memory. In contrast to our team challenge of the London Marathon 2013, we decided to pursue completely different events (partly for a bit of variety, partly to avoid unhealthy sibling rivalry!). We raised over £15,000 in 2013, and increased the total to over £23,000 by the end of 2014 but would like to achieve even more in Charlie’s name. So we have decided to continue to raise money for the RNLI as a lasting legacy for Charlie on our giving page.
We will continue to line up events, which you can find out about and follow us on the ‘Team Hutton’ blog.
We hope you will help by joining us on some of our challenges or support us and spread the word as we continue to raise money for this extremely worthy cause.
Sam has also produced a charity single that he based on the song he wrote and played at Charlie’s memorial service. It’s available on itunes here with all profits going to the RNLI.
The giving page will remain open as an enduring legacy to our brother Charlie and the skill, passion and fun he brought into our lives: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SomeoneSpecial/teamhutton
Thanks again for all your support
Tom & Sam.
